Research expertise

Dr Busch is an active researcher in the fields of signal and image processing (object recognition, texture analysis, speech and speaker recognition), machine vision, pattern recognition, and sports monitoring. Applications of this research include document analysis (script and language identification, form recognition), speaker identification in adverse environments, and human monitoring of athletic and other activities.
