Research expertise

Assoc Prof O'Keefe works extensively in the area of compact and efficient antenna designs for personal communication devices and wireless networks. Much of this work has been aimed at multiband antennas for 3G and future technology cellular handsets. His interests also include other wireless technologies such as RFID, industrial monitoring and control and RDS and geophysical electromagnetics such as EM emission from rock fracture.
