As a sport and biomedical engineer, you will have a strong base in electronics and will have the opportunity to develop multidisciplinary skills in

To meet the changing needs of the biomedical and healthy lifestyles industries, you will be trained to develop and implement high-technology electronic solutions for many applications to

develop and maintain systems to assist in the training of athletes of all types
help clinicians diagnose and monitor patients
assist with systems for patient and sports rehabilitation
design high-tech sporting equipment

We have strong industry partnerships with the Queensland Academy of Sport in developing wireless applications to improve athlete assessment, and are working with other sporting institutions, such as the Australian Institute of Sport, on a wide variety of projects.
