Mechatronics plays a key role in the development of tomorrow’s products by being at the forefront of cutting-edge designs.

You will gain invaluable theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience to enable you to respond to the evolving technological age and meet industry demands. In a world being continually transformed by technologies, the field of mechatronics presents diverse employment opportunities in local, national and global organisations.

You will have access to a world-class teaching and research facility with the new Science, Engineering and Architecture building on our Gold Coast campus offering state-of-the art laboratories, lecture theatres and tutorial space.

Expert, dynamic and motivated lecturers deliver the program with strong industry input by guest lecturers, and student participation in real engineering projects.

The program will provide you with

  • technical expertise and a thorough knowledge of how mechanical structures integrate with electronics, software and computer systems to develop, design and construct smart and intelligent products
