Engineering is a dynamic industry, requiring skills not only in engineering, but in

  • organisational behaviour
  • communication
  • economics
  • quality control
As industry continues to become increasingly project focused, employers are seeking engineers equipped with strong project management skills.

We recognise the field of project management is continually evolving, and qualified engineers are moving into management roles and are requiring strong skills to lead their teams to an effective project outcome. Our engineering management degree programs will equip you with the managerial skills needed to run complex projects smoothly.

Our program is designed to complement and enhance your current engineering qualifications and work experience. The skills you obtain can be integrated into your current role, give you the necessary credentials to obtain a higher position within your organisation, or start a new chapter in your career.

You will be trained with multidisciplinary skills enabling you to

  • develop, implement and evaluate projects
  • adapt to changing workplace demands
  • develop strategic leadership skills
  • implement safety, quality, performance and human resources management

You will be able to apply the principles of engineering management to effectively communicate with all project parties including clients, contractors and engineers.

You will graduate with a solid foundation in engineering principles as well as

  • business management and consultancy
  • contract administration and planning
  • overseeing site projects
