The 10th IWA specialisation conference on Instrumentation, Control and Automation was held in Cairns, 14-17 June 2009.
The Best Poster prize was awarded to the team: Rachelle Willis, Dr Rodney Stewart, Adj. Prof. Guillermo (Bill) Capati, Anna Hollingsworth and Dr Kriengsak Panuwatwanich.

The 7th IWA World Congress on Water Reclamation and Reuse was held in Brisbane, 20-25 September 2009.
Rachelle Willis was awarded the "Best Paper Presented by a Young Water Professional".
