In view of the current financial environment and the challenges engineering organisations are currently facing, many of us are wondering: Is it possible to build an organisation that is resilient to crises?

About the presenter
Erica has a Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree and a Ph.D. in risk assessment. After completing her Ph.D. Erica spent four years in the UK where she worked as a risk management consultant, providing advice for leading public and private sector clients, including London Underground Ltd, Railtrack, the UK Ministry of Defence, National Audit Office, Defence Procurement Agency, and Shell Gas Trading. Erica also worked with JP Morgan Chase in London managing operational risks during the trade settlement process.

Korea-Australia International Workshop on concrete bridge repair and maintenance

This Seminar is designed for Australian and Korean researchers to exchange information regarding best practice techniques and research outputs in bridge repairing and maintenance. A number of speakers will be presenting their research findings. Topics include: bridge design specifications, crack development and monitoring, bridge management systems, service life prediction, bridge deck strengthening and concrete durability.
