Korea-Australia International Workshop on concrete bridge repair and maintenance

14th to 16th January, 2008

This Seminar is designed for Australian and Korean researchers to exchange information regarding best practice techniques and research outputs in bridge repairing and maintenance. A number of speakers will be presenting their research findings. Topics include: bridge design specifications, crack development and monitoring, bridge management systems, service life prediction, bridge deck strengthening and concrete durability.

Recent Grants

Over the past few years, staff members have been awarded a variety of competitive grants, industry-funded research grants, Cooperative Research Centre projects, and Research and Development consultancies. The following list demonstrates a sample of these grants:

  • Pavement technology management system investigation (Government-funded project by six local councils).
  • Soil/structure interaction (Australian Research Council-funded)
