Research expertise

Following careers as an early years teacher and researcher in both Australia and North America, Dr Twigg has taken up appointment as lecturer. She has worked as Senior Program Officer for the Office for Early Childhood Education and Care with the Queensland Department of Education and Training on strategic initiatives in relation to achieving universal access to quality kindergarten programs for all Queensland children by 2013. Her research interests are eclectic and include qualitative research methodologies including phenomenology, early childhood art education, student health and wellbeing, school improvement and professional learning for educators.
