School of Education and Professional Studies (Gold Coast)

The School of Education and Professional Studies (Gold Coast) is the largest school on the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University, which is the fastest growing campus in Australia. The school, which provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs of study, was one of the first in Queensland to introduce an internship program in the final semester of pre-service teacher education programs. The internship is highly regarded by local education providers and ensures a strong basis for the preparation of graduates and consequent high levels of employment.

The School has developed productive partnerships with local school communities through a number of advisory groups including the Teacher Education Industry Advisory Group, Professional Experience Advisory Committee, and the Internship Management Committee, as well as links with professional associations such as the Gold Coast Teachers Network, Establishing Teachers Network, Australian College of Educators and the South Coast Technology Education Network.

The learning and teaching facilities for education students at the Gold Coast provide students with state of the art resources in:
