"When you have an education everything in life improves," says Kylie Heron, second-year primary education student and mother of seven. Kylie was recently selected as the recipient of a $25,000 a year scholarship for Indigenous student teachers. Once she graduates, she plans to be a higher education advocate for Indigenous youth.
