Griffith University has offered music teacher training since the 1970s, and has a strong tradition of music teacher preparation.
Our programs and courses prepare you for a wide variety of teaching contexts from studio music teaching community music facilitators, through to classroom and instrumental teaching in schools.
In collaboration with the Queensland Conservatorium, students are given opportunities to immerse themselves in music making and music learning in preparation for teaching students music in the 21st century.
