While Griffith University has been involved in early childhood education preservice training for many years, its recently-established Early Childhood Education Centre brings a new focus and commitment to the area through collective enterprise. The Centre is developing a strong research culture and hosts a early childhood research interest group within the Griffith Institute for Educational Research.
It is also engaging with industry partners nationally and internationally, and is fast developing a reputation for its research in pedagogy and practice, professional development and teaching.
The Early Childhood Education Centre provides regular professional development with the Centre for Continuing Professional Learning.
