Staff Giving at Griffith

Staff Giving at GriffithOur workplace giving program, 'Staff Giving at Griffith', represents our first and important step in building a culture of giving within the University.

'Staff Giving at Griffith' has been established to generate scholarships that will assist those students who have successfully completed their first year studies.

Contributions to the program will provide financial support for deserving students and it is hoped that as contributions from staff grow more scholarships can be awarded.

Every gift counts regardless of the amount. For as little as $2 (pre-tax) per pay period, staff can help make a difference and be counted as a member of our growing community who give in a special way.

The University has agreed to match dollar for dollar all gifts within the financial year.

Reasons to support

Through education, research and community service the University shapes our society.  As staff we understand this more than most.  A gift to Griffith University will make a difference because education is important to our future; and because together we can create a better future.

Giving to Griffith University is a personal choice and each staff member has their own reason to give. You already give your time, dedication skills and knowledge because you believe in our organisation's vision. Giving a financial gift is another way to support Griffith University's priorities and vision.

Philanthropy, will help Griffith University to achieve high quality programs in academic, teaching and research programs and activities.

Goals

The goal of 'Staff Giving at Griffith' is to increase the opportunity for our students and staff to be supported in their academic life through scholarships and bursaries. Your participation, not the size of your gift, sends a powerful message to our broader community that we are firm believers in Griffith University's vision.

Program coordination

The program is being coordinated via the Vice Chancellor and an advisory group which will be appointed by the Vice Chancellor through the Development and Alumni Office.
