Staff Giving at Griffith
Staff can now make a donation from their pre-tax salary to support financially under-privileged students.
All gifts of $2 or more are tax-deductible. Donors receive an official Griffith University receipt.
Gifts
Every gift makes a difference to our students and graduates - today and in the future.
Griffith University has two Foundations through which all philanthropic gifts to Griffith University are made. The Griffith University Fund is the Australian foundation and Friends of Griffith in the U.S. Inc. is the United States foundation.
Both foundations provide donors with tax deductible benefits for gifts that they make to Griffith University and its programs and projects.
Gifts and Donations can be made as one off payments or can be pledged over a number of years to suit the circumstances of the donor. All gifts will be used in the manner designated by the donor.
If you wish to make a gift through either foundation and have any questions, please contact the Director, Development and Alumni Office.
Donations
Our success depends not only on the future generosity of our governments and industry partners, but on donations from individuals, community groups and philanthropic organisations.
Reasons for making a gift to Griffith University vary greatly. You may wish to benefit society, accomplish a personal goal or you may value highly your Griffith experience and wish to invest in providing that same experience to current and future students.
Making a donation is a very personal experience and we encourage you to support an area of special interest to you. If you do not have a preference on where to direct your support, you may elect to provide discretionary funds which the University can divert to high priority areas and needs.
We are honoured to have received the following donations.
- Institute of Glycomics
- Griffith Film School
- Griffith Law School Prizes
