Body Bequest Program
Have you ever wondered how to donate your body to science?
The Griffith University School of Anatomy, based at the Gold Coast campus, administers a Body Bequest Program to support health and medical education and research. Donors to our program make a vital contribution to the training of doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, exercise scientists and other health professionals.
Bodies are primarily used in anatomy courses, providing invaluable hands-on opportunities for real life learning. Some bodies are used for advanced surgical training, thereby improving skills of practicing clinicians.
Anyone over the age of 18 may donate their body to the Griffith University Body Bequest Program, and donors can withdraw from the program at any time.
The first step to becoming a donor involves applying for an information pack and consent form. You can do this by filling in the electronic form found at http://www.griffith.edu.au/health/school-anatomy/bequest-program/application-form, or by applying in writing to:-

If you would like to support our bequest program in other ways, donations are gratefully received. Financial bequests support our efforts to recognise the generous gift of donation and provide opportunities to families of donors to remember their loved ones in the donor memorial garden, book of remembrance, and thanksgiving service.
