IT Student does that BIT extra for dream job

Bachelor of IT student Natasha Hurst is getting paid to work at her dream job with leading software company, Thoughtware.

Natasha wanted a degree that made her "job ready".

"I love putting the skills learn at Griffith into practice in my job with Thoughtware. It has really given me a grasp of what it is like in a work environment" she said.

"I chose to study at Griffith after completing my Diploma in Multimedia at Logan TAFE. I felt the Bachelor of IT@Work Scheme was a fantastic opportunity to not only walk away with a degree but with a whole lot of work experience and knowledge under my belt".

"I am really enjoying my time at Thoughtware. I have already worked across a range of activities such as tradeshows, configuring and implementing new software, branding and marketing. This first hand knowledge is invaluable - it shows you what life will be life after uni has confirmed to me this is the industry I want to be in" Natasha said.
