Using a common-use computer

Files do not automatically print out, like they might do at home. The process here is

  1. Send your print job to the printer station - be careful to choose either Black/White or Colour, depending on your needs, and the right campus.
  2. All our student printers are networked, so your print job will be available from any of them. Go to your nearest printer station.
  3. Login with your student number/password
  4. Choose the print job that you wish to print
  5. Enter your PIN
  6. You will then be told the total cost for the print job, if you are happy with this, select "ok to print". The cost will then be debited from your account.

Using the wireless network

Student wireless printing lets you print from your laptop to any Griffith campus common-use printer.

Campus printers

  • You can print from your laptop to both black and white, and color printers
  • You can setup to print at all Griffith campuses
  • Remember to change the printing queue if you do print at different campuses

You need

  • A laptop connected to either the Griffith University wireless network or the Wireless@Griffith network
  • Windows XP or Windows Vista with SP1, or Mac OSX
  • A student print account that you can setup at the Services Desk in the Library
