The Gold Coast International is at the very heart of Queensland’s dazzling coast. With the sparkling waters and white sand of Surfers Paradise only 50 meters away, the Gold Coast International offers a complete Gold Coast experience.

Accommodation and Breakfast

All rooms include a buffet breakfast in the patio restaurant.

(Room rate includes buffet breakfast; in a single room breakfast is included for 1 person and in a double room breakfast is included for 2 people. If you require accommodation for more than 2 persons in the room then please contact the conference organisers directly for the additional cost. Please contact the conference organizers if you require a roll away bed or cot at additional cost. Accommodation is subject to availability and can not be guaranteed. Final bedding allocation is also subject to availability.)

All rooms feature a fully stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, ensuite, air conditioning, private balcony, and internet services (broadband subject to availability).

Children 12 years of age and under stay for free if using existing bedding in the room with a maximum of 4 people. Rollaway beds and cots are available at an additional cost. Check in time is from 2PM onwards and Check out time is prior to 11AM. Late checkouts may be arranged with Reception and may incur additional charges.

For those of our guests wanting true pampering immersion, GCI’s Body Inc. Day Spa caters for another level of relaxation and rejuvenation. From the ancient Japanese technique of Shiatsu to the flowing rhythmical strokes of Hawaiian massage, the Day Spa offers a host of treatments and indulgences to soothe and invigorate. $10 discount available to all delegates.

Travel and Transfers

The GCI is situated on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and Staghorn Avenue only a couple of hundred meters north of Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise.

If arriving from the North, follow the Gold Coast Highway into Surfers Paradise and turn right at the overpass foot-bridge onto Staghorn Avenue.

If arriving from the South, follow Ferny Avenue into Surfers Paradise and take a right onto Staghorn Avenue.

Car Parking

Complimentary undercover car parking is available for all in house guests. Valet parking is available at a rate of $10 per day from our Concierge.

Airports

The Gold Coast Airport is located just 30km (approx 25 minutes drive) south of the GCI Hotel. The Brisbane Domestic & International Airport is 90km (approx 1 hour drive) north of the GCI Hotel.

Transfers

There is a direct service from Brisbane Domestic/International Airport to the Gold Coast International Hotel at a cost of $20.00 per person one way or $35.00 per person return (minimum 5 people in group), using the AirTrainConnect service.

This transfer starts at the Brisbane Airports, with the train journey to the Nerang Station, and a connecting luxury car/coach transfer (dependant on numbers) direct to the Gold Coast International Hotel. Delegates can make their bookings directly at the Airtrain website.

Transportation

For easy transportation to and from the GCI Hotel, let the friendly concierge staff arrange your choice of a taxi, airport shuttle bus, limousine, or a hire car at any time throughout your stay to make your trip as smooth as possible.

The Gold Coast

Flanking the iconic wall of high-rise buildings is Surfers Paradise Beach, twice voted one of the ‘World’s Best Beaches’ by the Discovery Channel. Enjoyed by millions each year, it was also awarded the title of ‘Queensland’s Cleanest Beach’ in 2005.

Surfers Paradise is vibrant and alive. Bare chested bronzed Aussie surfers wander with surfboards slung under their arms down the main street, families frolic in the surf and couples enjoy cappuccinos at alfresco cafes. High-rise meets sand, meets parks and gardens.
