Lead:Make a Difference

14th Annual School Leaders’ Conference

The Professional Development Network in partnership with the Centre for Continuing Professional Learning thank you for your attendance at the 14th Annual School Leaders’ Conference, Lead:Make a Difference.

The 2010 PDN School Leaders’ Conference was held at Jupiters Gold Coast on Thursday 26 - Friday 27 August, 2010.  The Conference was a great success with Conference commendations including:

  • “Thanks to the PDN Committee on another great support tool, learning tool, collegial experience for participants.”
  • “Always thrilled by the afternoon speaker on the first day.  Very appropriate and stimulating.”
  • “I have enjoyed the networking opportunities amongst other things and look forward to attending next year’s conference.”

Lead:Make a Difference was a topical and stimulating event.  Our keynote speakers challenged, energised and inspired.  Professor Paul Chandler, Ms Di Fleming and Mr Mark McKeon discussed with delegates how shared leadership, transparency and accountability can improve the lives of children through learning.  They were described by the delegates as:

  • “A personal highlight.”
  • “Very motivational.”
  • “Fabulous.”
  • “Very pertinent to school leadership.”

The theme of leadership resonated throughout the Conference with our speakers attending sessions and many providing below their presentations for you.  The PDN Committee thank the presenters for giving so generously of their time, knowledge, ideas and experience.

The PDN Committee thank the 2010 Conference Sponsors for their support and involvement and commend to you their outstanding products and quality service.  Many thanks to Ricoh Australia for 4 years of Gold Sponsorship, Tynan MacKenzie for 3 years of Silver Sponsorship and Footsteps Dance Company for their first year as Bronze Sponsors.
