Coolangatta is approximately 100km south of the Brisbane International Airport which services regular flights from Europe, Asia and the USA.
A domestic airport (called the “Gold Coast” or “Coolangatta” Airport) is located less than 10km from the conference venue and has very regular connections with other major Australian cities. Brisbane Airport also services domestic flights.
There are several options available for transferring between the Coolangatta Airport and Brisbane International Airport and the hotel and they are outlined below. For convenience and ease of use the airport coaches or taxis are recommended
Arriving at Brisbane airport : If arriving at Brisbane we recommend you use an airport bus. The cost would be around $44 (one-way) or $80 (return). This trip would take approximately 2 hrs. Please visit their website for bookings.
If choosing to use a taxi the cost would be around $170 per taxi. There should be taxis waiting outside the airport or visit the website for bookings.
A train also runs directly from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast. The service to the Gold Coast terminates at Robina, which is about a 20 minute taxi-ride from Greenmount Beach resort.
