The First International Jellyfish Blooms Symposium was held in Alabama, USA in January 2000 and was organised by Dr Monty Graham and Dr Jenny Purcell.  Approximately 60 delegates from the USA, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia attended this highly successful meeting.  The proceedings were published in a special volume of Hydrobiologia (Volume 451, 2001).  We now invite delegates to attend the Second International Jellyfish Blooms Symposium, in Australia in June 2007.
