Co-inciding with Islands,and as a part of Building Musical Futures, the 50th anniversary celebration of Queensland Conservatorium, is the second edition of Encounters.
Encounters II will be an exciting exploration through performances and discussion of the multifaceted relationship of Australian music with the Asia-Pacific region at large. It brings together a suite of themes: islands, water, voyages of discovery, and utopias in music.
