The Inspiring Educator conference was held on the 21 and 22 July 2010, Mt Gravatt campus, Griffith University.

Griffith Education began running the Mid Year Conference in 2008 as an initiative for the graduate entry teacher education students. In 2010, for the first time, this professional development opportunity is also extended to final year preservice teachers in all Griffith Education programs and to graduate teachers in first and second years of teaching.
The conference provided opportunities for students and early career teachers to experience keynote speakers and workshops that extended their knowledge and enthusiasm for the profession. The conference also provided the important opportunity for networking.
The conference was presented by Griffith Education's Professional Experience Office and the Centre for Continuing Professional Learning.
