Abstract submission

Unfortunately the online abstract warehouse is unable to accept abstracts with scientific symbols, or present the abstracts in the format we require.  Consequently, abstracts will be received manually as in past years.   Use this form to submit your abstract and email to: ghi@griffith.edu.au  by 1 November.  Registration is essential for abstracts to be accepted.

Registrations are now closed

Registrations (seeking bursaries) for the 2010 Gold Coast Health and Medical Research and Abstract submissions are now closed.  This year we have introduced an online system for the registration process.  Please note the closing date for registrations (seeking bursaries) and to receive abstracts was 1 November 2010.  This date is firm.

Full registration includes all sessions and refreshments as well as attendance at the Conference dinner on the evening of Thursday 2 December.

 * Honours student registration does not include dinner.

Posters

Please note there is a restriction on poster size at the 2010 Conference.  If presenting a poster it must be A1, Portrait.The following Poster Template (PPT 229kb) is available for your convenience. It indicates poster guidelines to ensure consistency, clarity and professionalism. 

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat
  • Cancellations received prior to 1 November 2010 will receive a full refund
  • Cancellations requests after this date will not be refunded
  • Substitute delegates will be accepted and must be advised in writing

 Bursaries

GHI Registration bursaries may be available for Health group staff and RHD students to cover registration costs (not accommodation), subject to approval by the Conference Secretariat. 

To be considered for a registration bursary, registrations must be accompanied by an abstract in accordance with the abstract guidelines.

 Accommodation

Take the opportunity to network all night long. In addition to the GHI registration bursaries, some Schools and Research Programs are also providing accommodation bursaries. Generally, to be eligible for registration and accommodation bursaries, you will need to submit an abstract by the due date.  Please check with your School Secretary or Research Program for the relevant account code.

 Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner and Awards night will be held on Thursday 2 December.  Additional tickets are available through the online booking form if you would like to bring guests.
