Full papers and presentation materials are available for most general speakers and keynote speakers.

Presentations fit into one of the following types:

Standard Presentations

There will be some 30 Standard Papers of 25 minutes each plus 5 minutes for questions. Speakers may be asked if they wish to offer a presentation as part of a panel of speakers. The Program Committee will issue up to nine individual invitations to present Stream Keynote papers each of 35 minutes plus 10 minutes for questions. These papers will set the scene for each principal stream for the day. Papers will be reviewed and the Committee reserves the right to reject any paper or to suggest an alternative stream. Papers should be based on substantial work rather than on plans or intentions. Papers from new presenters are encouraged. Supervisors of postgraduate students are encouraged to identify outstanding students to showcase their work in any stream.

Corporate/Case Study Presentations

In a separate parallel stream, corporate speakers are given the opportunity to present new directions and new products in hardware, software and services, particularly when this is in partnership with someone from the sector. Case Studies of current projects from within the sector may be presented in this stream particularly if they do not fit well into any of the three principal streams. These may be given alone or in partnership with a vendor.

Posters

This will be in a dedicated session with no other presentations running in parallel. It will be opened by a discussant who will give a lively commentary on the session generally. The session will offer a captive audience from afternoon tea to the cocktail hour. If you are interested in participating, you will be supplied with useful hints on effective posters.

Workshops

These will be held on Sunday 20th May and may be either a full day (approximately 6 hours) or a half day in length.Topics should fit within the overall themes of the Conference. Click here for workshop details.
