Overview

The Conference will give participants the opportunity to interact and discuss the effective use, management and planning of information and communications technologies and services and their role in the delivery and management of higher education on the threshold of the 21st Century. Collaboration, efficiency and organisational issues will be to the fore.

Keynote speakers are leaders in their fields.There will be extensive opportunity for interaction with all speakers, delegates and suppliers. A Trade Show will feature the corporate partners. The Conference framework will be based on the following:

The conference will take place from 20th - 23rd May 2001 at the Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort; Queensland, Australia. It is targeted at IT professionals, librarians, academics, educators and administrators from the Higher Education and VET sectors.

The delegate fee for full registration is $A650 plus 10% GST; early bird registration prior 20th March is $A545 plus 10% GST. Students meeting the published criteria can attend for $A275 plus 10% GST. There is also the option for day delegates of $A225 plus 10% GST.

Two full day and two half day workshops will also take place on Sunday 20th May - cost $150 plus 10% GST (full day) $A70 plus 10% GST (half day).
