• SVGA Monitor capable of 800x600 resolution in 16 bit colour
• 16 bit sound card and speakers
• DVD-ROM

Software Requirements

• Apple QuickTime Player 5.0 (6.4 Recommended)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 (6 Recommended)

Trouble Shooting

I've navigated to a particular section and there is a video console and screen but all I get is a Director Player Error.

• You need QuickTime 5.0 or later installed. Version 6.5 is recommended and is available from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

I cannot view the PDF files.

• You need the Adobe Acrobat Viewer installed if you do not have Adobe Acrobat. Version 5.0 is recommended and is available from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

The interface does not display properly.

• This may be a result of your monitor colour depth being set below 16bit, which is the required colour depth for the interactive DVD-ROM.

I cannot see all of the interface on my screen.

• This may be a result of your monitor resolution being set below 800 x 600 which is the required resolution for this interactive DVD-ROM.

I can see the video but I cannot hear any sound.

• Check that the volume level is not too low. Adjust it accordingly.
• Check that the sound has not been muted.
• If the sound is only coming out of one headphone/speaker, the sound may be unbalanced.
• If you still have no sound, check that the speakers/headphones are plugged in to the correct socket in the sound card.
• If all these fail to solve the problem it will be necessary to look at your operating system help to further trouble shoot the lack of sound.
