Celebrating Australian China Scholarship

Join the China Law Network (CLN) of Australia

An Australia-wide CLN will be launched at this CSAA conference under the auspices of the ARC Asia-Pacific Futures Research Network (APFRN). The CLN aims to promote collaboration, networking, and research on Chinese law, both nationally and internationally.

The founding committee is Mary Farquhar (convenor), Sarah Biddulph (co-convenor), Louise Edwards (convenor of the ARC APFRN), Janette Neville (Secretary-General, LawAsia) and Susan Trevaskes (post-doctoral and early career researchers).

Network members will be working within the broad field of Chinese law, incorporating black letter law, commercial law and negotiations, law and culture, criminology, justice studies, human rights, international law, and so on.

If you qualify and would like to join but cannot come to the conference, please contact the conference organizers to join as a founding Network member (no fee or charge).
