Australian Council of University Art and Design Schools 2009

ACUADS is the peak discipline body of Australian university visual arts, crafts and design and advocates on behalf of artists, crafts practitioners and designers. One of the ways this is achieved is through an annual conference.

In 2009, the conference will be titled 'Interventions in the Public Domain', and hosted by the Queensland College of Art Griffith University in Brisbane from 30 September to 2 October.

The venue for the conference is the Queensland College of Art, located at South Bank, the cultural precinct of Brisbane, situated just across the river from the city centre. The South Bank area houses the state's cultural institutions and features gardens and lawns situated on the river.

Brisbane is also the perfect hub for exploring Southeast Queensland, including the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, should delegates decide to extend their conference stay.
