ABC7 Conference Proceedings

Accepted abstracts will be published in the ABC7 Conference Proceedings, contingent on registration by a presenting author.

Awards

ANZSB are sponsoring three awards for presentations given at ABC7
  • Best Podium Presentation
  • Best Poster Presentation
  • Best Student Podium Presentation
  • Best Student Poster Presentation

Best Podium and Best Poster Presentations will be awarded to the best free podium and poster presentations as judged by an expert panel. The recipient of each award will receive a certificate of achievement and a $300 AUD monetary prize to be used for scientific purposes.

Best Student Podium and Best Poster Presentations will be awarded to the best podium and poster presentations by a student, as judged by an expert panel. The recipient will receive a certificate of achievement and a $150 AUD monetary prize to be used for scientific purposes. 

To be eligible for a Student award, applicants must

  • be currently enrolled in a postgraduate level degree
  • be first author of an abstract accepted for presentation at ABC7
  • have made the major contribution to the research described in the abstract
  • personally present the paper (whether poster or podium) at ABC7

 
Winners of the Best Podium Presentation and Best Poster Presentation Awards will be invited to submit a full manuscript for publication as an ANZSB award-winning paper in the Journal of Applied Biomechanics. Please note that these manuscripts will be subject to the normal review process of the Journal of Applied Biomechanics.
