Guidelines
- Abstract submissions must be lodged online by 30 October 2009.
- Abstracts are a maximum of 300 words and biographical details a maximum of 100 words.
- Presenters accepted agree to their photo, biographical details and abstract being printed in the Conference program and on the Conference website.
- Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of APAIE Board members and chosen using specific criteria agreed by the review panel, including relevance to the Conference theme and areas of interest noted above, originality and applicability to other Conference participants.
- All papers/presentations will be published on the Conference website after the Conference.
- Further information regarding registration and presentation requirements will be provided following acceptance of an abstract.
- It is expected that the number of abstract submissions will exceed the time available for speakers. Should this occur, the review panel may select a limited number of quality abstract submissions to be included in networking poster sessions on day two of the Conference*. Authors of these selected abstracts will then be invited to participate in the poster session.
* A networking poster session is a combination of text and graphics in a poster format to make a visually pleasing presentation. The format allows participants to browse through the poster area and study the information and discuss it with the presenters during special poster session timeslots. Presenters are expected to be available for two one-hour timeslots during the Conference.
