Asia-Pacific Association for International Education 2010 Conference and Exhibition 14-16 April 2010.

APAIE is an international non-profit organization whose goal is to activate and reinforce the internationalisation of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world, and to engage the professional challenges of individuals in international education.

Each year APAIE holds an international conference hosted by a University in the Asia-Pacific Region. Previous APAIE conferences have been hosted by Korea University (Seoul, Korea), National University of Singapore (Singapore), Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan) and Renmin University in Beijing, China.

The Board of Directors of APAIE is pleased to announce that the 2010 APAIE Conference and Exhibition will be hosted by Griffith University at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia from 14-16 April 2010.

Message from the Vice President for Conference Planning, APAIE 2010

Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am delighted to invite you to attend the Fifth Annual APAIE Conference and Exhibition hosted by Griffith University from 14-16 April 2010 on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

The APAIE Conference and Exhibition is the premier international event for the discussion of issues facing the higher education sector in the Asia Pacific region.

APAIE 2010 will again see Presidents, Vice Presidents and senior staff from international offices from many Asia-Pacific institutions of higher learning and associated organisations meet to participate in lively panel discussions, listen to prominent guest speakers, and network with exhibitors.

The Organising Committee is putting together, with the Board of Directors of APAIE, an interesting program of events, with themes and sub-themes which will stimulate much lively discussion among participants.

The Conference website will be updated regularly between now and the Conference in April 2010. If you would like to be added to our mailing list for email updates of progress, please email apaie2010@griffith.edu.au.
