“Your students who participated in the collaborative project with Winanjjikari Music Centre in Tennant Creek were wonderful representatives of the university, and outstanding WIL candidates. They had a fantastic attitude and work ethic and adapted very well to the remote Indigenous context they were working in. Members of the community, Winanjjikari, the Song Room, Australian  Theatre for Young People, and Barkly Regional Arts(organisations we collaborated with up there) all commented on their impressive musical skills as well as their endearing humility in the work that they did.

“I have been a host of Griffith student placements, an industry collaborator, a research collaborator and a learner from the Griffith School of Criminology and Criminal Justice for several years. The School’s ongoing interest in collaboration with industry, government and community is reflected in a breadth of program design and learning opportunities, with its curriculum ensuring a holistic view of justice. The students who have undertaken WIL for DRUG ARM have training that is relevant, connected and up to date with service requirements from all areas.

“Griffith University’s Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) provided Thiess with an opportunity to “try before you buy”, as well as a chance to be involved in an exciting opportunity to help young engineers launch their careers in a realistic environment, while undertaking a worthwhile task. In this way the IAP promotes the establishment of strong foundations in a range of disciplines for emerging professionals.

“Recruiting graduates of Griffith's financial planning program (Bachelor of Commerce – Professional) has proved advantageous to our business. In a tightening labour market, we have employed two technically competent and motivated graduates who are both eager for practical financial planning experience. Knowing that they have undertaken specialised study in financial planning gives us confidence in their commitment to a long term career in our industry and our business.
Infocus Money Management,
Birtinya
