Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is where students undertake a work related project or a placement in a work environment as part of their study program. The timing of WIL placements is usually a specified time within the academic semester to permit students to complete both the placement and their lecture and tutorial commitments.
This is an important way of ensuring that our students are job-ready when they graduate. It is also a great way for employers to build a 'talent pipeline’ to assist them in selecting the most appropriate students for positions that become available once students graduate.
