Bachelor of Business (Management)

The Bachelor of Business (Management) is offered at our Gold Coast and Nathan campuses. It takes 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time to complete.

• The QTAC code for the program is 231131 (Gold Coast) or 222041 (Nathan)
• The OP cut-off is 18 (Rank 61) and the only prerequisite is English (4 SA)

Program structure

Management isn't simply about managing people or making sure an office runs smoothly. A very important part of being a good manager is to be able to be a good team player.

If you enjoy a challenge, like to work hard to achieve top results and work well with people, then this course will help you on the road to your career in management. This degree will educate you in how the core functions of management-communication, planning, teamwork, strategy, human resources and self-development - all work together.

It will develop your analytical, communication and decision-making skills which are necessary in today’s modern business world.

Year 1 you will complete the business core courses.

Year 2 and 3 you'll complete courses for the Management major and supplement your studies with a choice of:

• An overseas internship or exchange
• An industry placement (work-integrated learning)
• An additional area of specialised study, or minor
• Specialisations offered from other areas of the University
