Research Higher Degree
We support our Research Higher Degree students through a range of activities and programs, complementing University and faculty-level initiatives. Together with our staff, Departments, and Research Centres we work hard to ensure our RHD students get the best possible support for their studies.
In 2006 we appointed an RHD Program Director to focus specifically on our students' needs. The RHD Program Director is responsible for nurturing and fostering a research culture, and for developing cohort experiences in collaboration with Departments and Research Centres.
Our 'cohort experience' programs are designed to enhance the experiences of our RHD students. These include our showcase event and poster competition - which is a celebration and a display of the diversity and impact of our current PhD and Master of Philosophy research, as well as recognising, rewarding and celebrating excellence amongst our RHD scholars.
