Centre for Governance and Public Policy

Griffith's Centre for Governance and Public Policy builds on the university's 20-year tradition of providing cutting-edge research into the capacity, sustainability and accountability of governments.

The 35-member strong research staff, headed by Professor Patrick Weller AO, translates its research into practical applications to foster stable and accountable government and provide considered input into policy making.

The Centre also devotes resources to inter-generational planning and to developing staff into internationally competitive scholars.
