Why study at Griffith?
As an undergraduate student
Get hands-on experience while you study
Internships both in Australia and overseas plus work experience opportunities and key industry links will enable you to start doing business before you graduate.
- Commerce (accounting, banking and finance, economics and financial planning) students can take advantage of their very own simulated trading room to groom their hands-on skills for a future career on the floor of the stock exchange.
- The Ruhr Valley internship in Germany and the Korean Internship, give students the opportunity to gain work experience in another country as part of their degree.
- The Goldman Sachs JB Were Internship gives banking and finance students the opportunity to experience first hand what it takes to work in one of the world’s pre-eminent financial services organisations.
- Third year students have the opportunity to be paired up with an industry mentor, providing you with guidance and easing the transition from study to full-time employment.
Double your skills, double your career options
A Griffith double degree helps you graduate in less time than it would take to complete two degrees back-to-back. The Griffith Business School gives you the flexibility to design your business studies by combining any two of our single degrees. With more than 300 combinations to choose we're certain to have something that suits your needs.
Become a highly employable graduate
Griffith’s business graduate placement rates exceed the national average because our graduates are more flexible and adaptable critical thinkers and are excellent team leaders.
"We have enjoyed employing Griffith Financial Planning graduates because they have the theory and work-related skills to be successful in the job from day one." - David Swanwick, Director, Ellwood Barry McPherson Pty Ltd
As a postgraduate student

Griffith Business School values and recognises your record in education and business, and our programs have been designed to take account of your study or professional background. Depending on the program you choose, you may be eligible for between 10 Credit Points (equivalent to one course) and 80 Credit Points (equivalent to eight courses) on the basis of previous studies in a related area.

Our postgraduate programs are delivered by highly qualified teaching staff who can speak your language because their extensive qualifications are enriched by industry experience and ongoing research. More importantly, they are regularly consulted by industry to help solve commercial problems on a local, national and international scale because they are at the cutting-edge of the very latest thinking in their fields.
Enjoy a flexible approach
Our programs take account of the multiple demands you face as a working professional and are highly rated by our students for their flexibility. You’ll have the option of full-time or part-time enrolment, online delivery for some courses and classes at multiple campuses, including the refurbished Ship Inn located at South Bank on the Brisbane River, opposite central Brisbane. Most of our programs offer the option of full Master’s degrees or shorter Graduate Certificates and the time schedules indicated for completing degrees may be reduced due to the flexible offerings available in some programs.
