Recruiting graduates of Griffith's financial planning program has proved advantageous to our business. In a tightening labour market, we have employed two technically competent and motivated graduates who are both eager for practical financial planning experience. Knowing that they have undertaken specialised study in financial planning gives us confidence in their commitment to a long term career in our industry and our business - Infocus Money Management.
Become an industry partner
Why get involved?
The key to the model that the Bachelor of Commerce (Professional) degree is based on is the element of partnership between the University and industry. This partnership can be manifested in a number of ways including the primary means of taking on student interns. Other forms of industry involvement include funding bursaries, guest lecturing and participation in the Professional Development Program.
National Award Recognition
The Bachelor of Commerce (Professional) has been awarded a national citation for outstanding contributions to student learning by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council. In 2009, Griffith Business School and its industry partners in the accounting and financial planning fields, were awarded the Best Higher Education and Training Collaboration at the B-HERT Annual Awards. See our News and Events page for further information.
