The world of international relations combines economic know-how with political savvy. This challenging field attracts the best of the best and Griffith’s graduates work in government, strategic analysis and non-governmental organisations around the world. Griffith’s international relations program deals with some of the most pressing issues of world politics: the causes of war and peace, the pressures and opportunities of globalisation, the threats posed by terrorism and nuclear proliferation, and the problems of global poverty and injustice. Everything a modern leader must know.
International relations student Aaron Santelises was Co-Secretary General at the Brisbane Model United Nations Conference - an event that develops youth diplomacy and leadership. Modelled on the actual UN and bringing together hundreds of university students to discuss current world issues, Aaron coordinated committees on human rights and security.
