Griffith Business School offers a range of school programs across our Gold Coast, Logan and Nathan campuses that enable high school students to experience University first hand and expand their knowledge of the business world. Educators can also take advantage of professional development and networking opportunities provided by Griffith Business School. Our programs include:
Marketing Mix-Up Competition
Centred around key marketing, international business and commerce concepts, students in years 9 to 12 will experience business from a new angle when they enter this interactive competition. Registrations for the competition open at the beginning of Term 1.
During Term 2 registered students are invited to attend a series of workshops run by Griffith Business School staff. Our current students will also visit the teams at their schools to provide input and guidance as the teams continue to develop their projects. Finalists will be invited to present to a panel of judges and to the other participants at an awards ceremony at the end of the year.
Great prizes are up for grabs for the winning team in each category, and all students will receive a certificate of participation acknowledging their attendance at the workshops.
Leadership Day
Griffith Business School’s 2012 Leadership Day will feature the dynamic author of ‘Fish!’, Professor Steve Lundin. Year 12 students in leadership positions (up to six per school) are invited to participate in this interactive workshop that will explore the key concepts behind effective leadership: credibility, attitude, vision, respect and innovation.
