MBA Business Strategy lecturer Dr Alan Blackman was recently honoured with Queensland Sports, Sport Volunteer of the Year Award. Dr Blackman was the driving force behind the development of a $3.5 million sporting facility that has united the Tamborine Mountain community.
Professor wins Australian Endeavour Executive Award
Professor Michelle Barker from Griffith Business School's Department of International Business and Asian Studies has been awarded a prestigious Australian Endeavour Executive Award for 2011.
The awards were given to 27 Australians and 44 candidates from other countries. The Endeavour Executive Awards provide professional development opportunities for high achievers in business, industry, education or government from participating countries, including Australia.
