Biography

Luke Glanville graduated with his PhD in Political Science from the University of Queensland before taking up a Research Fellowship at Griffith University in the Centre for Governance and Public Policy and the Griffith Asia Institute in 2010. His research is currently focused on the duties that states have to protect their own populations and also those beyond their territorial borders from mass atrocities. Luke has a book manuscript, Sovereignty and the Responsibility to Protect, under contract, and has placed articles in journals including International Studies Quarterly, European Journal of International Relations, Millennium, and Journal of Genocide Research. He has co-edited two books and is co-editor of a quarterly issued journal, Global Responsibility to Protect, with Alex Bellamy and Sara Davies.
