  2010 Visiting Fellows Testimonials

‘The Australia-China Futures Dialogues visiting fellowship provided me with a very good opportunity to undertake research at PKU, one of the leading centres of teaching and studies of social science in China.  Personally, I have learned a great deal through intensive studies of Chinese sources related to my PhD research questions, and more importantly, through direct academic exchanges with PKU scholars’.  Shanding Zhou, PhD candidate, Department of International Business and Asian Studies

‘The experience provided me with a chance to network with Chinese colleagues, present my work to postgraduate students, interview related officers in different organisations.  Apart from enhancing my professional knowledge and skills, I believe that my visit will further develop future cooperation and improve partnership coordination, promote staff exchange and information sharing between our universities’.  Wang Yan, Centre for Environment and Population Health

'The Australia-China Futures Dialogues visiting fellowship provided a great opportunity to extend my research, collaboration and contacts in China.  The fellowship in such a vital research environment greatly enhanced my own understanding of some of the most interesting reform opportunities originating in China’s senior academic circles’.  Dr Shumei Hou, Griffith Asia Institute
