Centre for Tourism, Sport and Service Innovation members, Dr Jan Warnken, Nicole Johnston and Professor Chris Guilding recently completed a $98,000 study funded primarily by the National Water Commission which explored the regulatory framework and governance issues associated with decentralised water management systems located within strata and community title schemes. The 110 page report, which provides a comprehensive outline of the legal context for strata titled schemes taking a lead in more decentralised water management and documents the research findings with respect to the feasibility of water systems managed at the strata titled property level, was launched by Commissioner Chris Davis at this year's Griffith University hosted Strata and Community Title in Australia for the 21st Century conference.
