We have close ties with the Department of Tourism, Leisure, Hotel and Sport Management - which studies how our lives are affected by the events, hotel, sport, tourism and real estate and property development industries.
We are affiliated with the Asia Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence, which seeks to address the need for research and focus on the franchise industry, through promoting education and collaborative industry research.
We are also members of the Pacific Asia Travel Association.

International Sustainable Tourism Research Initiative
Griffith University's research in sustainable tourism is driven by the International Sustainable Tourism Research Initiative. The Initiative combines the expertise of the International Centre for Ecotourism Research and the Centre for Tourism, Sport and Service Innovation.
