Transition and transformation issues towards a sustainable enterprise economy
26-28 September, 2012
South Bank campus, Griffith University
Our Centre is holding this international conference to explore the change that is now underway worldwide, from China to California to Europe to South Africa, on the journey to a new economy. The sustainable enterprise economy replaces the current subsidies to pollute with prices on pollutants. This is already releasing talent, creativity and enterprise in those enlightened economies that are taking a lead. This conference tackles the complex issues involved in the transition and transformation towards this new model of capitalism where current externalities are internalised.
Guest speakers will include business and government leaders who will join confirmed speakers Professor Sandra Waddock from Boston College, Professor Mark Swilling from Stellenbosch University, Adjunct Professor Martin Blake from APCSE.
