The world now faces severe economic, social and environmental risks. Business-as-usual is not an option. Global concerns over climate change, environmental degradation and social inequality indicate how critical it is for business leaders to be prepared for this new environment. A new way of doing business that incorporates these risks into its practices, strategies and culture is needed – this is sustainable enterprise. A sustainable enterprise flourishes within environmentally sustainable limits, enhances social equity and embraces a sense of futurity.
Our centre has been established to inform and assist the development of sustainable enterprise through innovative research, teaching and engagement activities. We are a highly collaborative entity with strong national and international connections to industry, academe, government and non-government organisations.
