The Languages Building on the Nathan campus of Griffith University was opened in 1995 and is generally recognised as among the best of language learning facilities in Australia.

Academic staff are highly experienced in the latest computer assisted language learning technologies, which enables them to provide language classes in a variety of imaginative and enjoyable modes. This is enhanced by the variety of suites in the building, which provide every opportunity for best practice in all varieties of language teaching and learning. Computer labs with after-hours access, also provided with the latest technology, enable students to continue their study in the building after classes.

Satellite reception allows recording of a great variety of programs in all languages taught by the School. A technician, experienced in working together with academic staff and who thus understands the needs of language teaching, is able to provide first-rate advice and back-up.
